The implementation of GIS in real-time transient stability

The aim of this work is the development of a real-time transient stability program using the direct method the PEBS with in the GIS environmental, using the facilities which the GIS can proposed, to obtain a modified control centers which have the ability to control and monitor the electrical network affectionately.

In this research a transient stability program was developed using the direct method/ energy approach/ PEBS method, then the structure of the GIS database was introduced; the interface programs were described and with the aid of GIS the facility statistic reports on system facilities containing system stability and the value of the clearing time were easily established.

12. Keeping in touch with advanced progress in map production and remote sensing techniques and digital mapping, as well as establishment of comprehensive geographic information system.
